Vinum Dimocuum

A quick word or two on a special village

Sooooo best laid plans and all that. This video was supposed one of my Indiana Jones-esque searches for the birthplace of a prominant apple or pear variety. I was on the road in Herefordshire when I found myself near to where an old, but still used variety, originated. I was part way through filming my National Geographic epic when I had to change tack due to ‘unforseen circumstances’. I’ll explain in due course!

So, what to do instead on a sunny day in the heart of the Shire? Well, go back to the Mothership of course! This is a little video filmed on location from Wintour’s Green in Dymock, Gloucestershire. Here I regale you with all the facts you’ve been dying to hear about the small village that I hail from.

Ah, and sorry for the portrait aspect!!

Enjoy!
